Painted Greenling Hiding in White-spotted Rose Anemone
While diving at Point Lobos, a local state park, I spotted this greenling hiding among the tentacles of a White-spotted Rose Anemone. I was very surprised to see this, as I thought it was a behavior that was only done in tropical waters. The Painted Greenling must be immune to the stinging tentacles also.
